Biofuel

I've been angry for several years with biofuel enthusiasts, even a baboon could see how useless most biofuels are. Obviously supporters either are total idiots or have economic interests that shape their opinions.

Sound circuits

I've built two very simple sound generators the last few days:


Atari Punk Console

Still have to solder it to circuit (on a bredboard atm) and put it in a box.



Auduino Software Synth

Very easy project, just need to connect 5 potentiometers to an arduino duemilanove. It is very silent though, need to to get an amplifier.

Yesterday I saw Skepticism and Esoteric at klubi. Skepticism was pure excellence, best band I've seen in a long time. Esoteric was quite nice but played for two hours, so I got bored.

Death Clutch T-shirt

I saw UFC 87 this weekend and saw something strange with Brock Lesnar's shirt:




Hmmm, that skull looks familiar...




aHA! Almost exactly the same skull that the band Våld has in their logo. In their album "BOYCOTT YOUR LIFE" from 2006 I read that the skull logo was made by "Robin Backman". Which would mean that Death Clutch completely ripped off Våld's logo for Brock's new mega-sized shirt! Quite a funny find, would be fun to hear what the shirt designer has to say about this.

Seitan Sausage

Today I made some seitan sausage from this recipe Spicy Italian Vegetarian Sausages
There is also video of how to make them: video

All the ingredients here, had to buy seasoning stuff for 18 euros. I also added liquid smoke, some sesame oil, white vinegar and more olive oil and spices.


Wrapped the seitan into foil.


Steamed them in a wok.


Ready.


I have tasted them and at the moment they are VERY soft, going to let them chill overnight and see if they get harder (lol). Maybe there was too much steam.

The taste is good, but I bet it can be made 10 times better. Going to experiment more with the seasoning next time.
